Our Don Guanella Rehabilitation Centre imitates our Founder Guanella’s mission here in Chennai. The culmination of our centre is to help the good children who are physically and mentally challenged. We render the mercy of God and our love to them, through our loveable service. Here the children are trained to care for themselves, to perform their daily duties and depend no one to care for themselves. Our centre is under the guidance of our director, Guanellian brothers, sisters, teachers, therapists and helpers. We give special education, games, dance, music, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and some physical exercises.

The children of our centre are in and around Poonamallee. Every day we go to their houses to bring them to our centre to train them. We give them midday meal and in between refreshments. Once in a month our good children will participate holy Mass with our major seminary brothers, which will be followed by lunch. During the day we care for them and in the evening, the kids are under the shadow of their parents. Around forty-five students are getting benefit from our centre.
